About This Blog

"Who dares to teach must never cease to learn."
John Cotton Dana

I started this blog back in the spring of 2011, as I was just finishing up my student teaching and preparing to receive my teaching license. I was filled with excitement and passion for early childhood, and this blog became a place where I could document, remember, and share the things I was experiencing and learning.

As the years have gone by, I started my teaching career in the wonderful world or Kindergarten and went on to complete a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. My love of learning about and teaching young children has only continued to grow, and this blog has been evolving and changing along with those learning experiences.

Children are so amazing- true learning wonders- and there is so much that we can do as adults to inspire, support, and help them along their journey of life. My purpose in continuing this blog is to bring together the ideas, resources, perspectives, and experiences that have helped me as a teacher and a person to understand, support, and love the children that I know and work with.

And I am still learning.
I think I always will be.
